This is about a 5 minute drive from town.

Beach BBQ

We will be at Westcott Bay Shellfish Co. for lunch on Saturday 6/27 before heading to Jackson Beach. Grab a table if you want to join (they book up quick) or check out the Net Shed there for drinks and picnic supplies on the lawn.

There is a trail that connects to English Camp/Bell Point from here if you’re looking for a ~20 minute scenic walk on either side of lunch.

Some Helpful Information

  • At either terminal, be back to your car at least 20 minutes before the departure time and/or look for cars unloading from the boat that just docked. If ferries are running behind schedule you’ll still need to check in to your reservation 60 minutes before the scheduled departure time to keep your reservation.

If you’re driving on, we recommend heading upstairs as soon as you’re parked on the boat to grab a booth with a window. There are limited food & drink options on board if you’re desperate.

  • Wedding | We’d love to see you all in your festive summer cocktail attire. Ladies, there is some lawn and field to navigate between venue locations so would select shoes accordingly.

Everything Else | The rest of the weekend is casual, so wear your PNW layers for changing temps and activities.

  • There will be a trolley transporting guests to and from the venue on Friday from several pick-up points. You will find pick-up locations and times here.

Otherwise, if you are not planning to drive on keep in mind there is no Uber/Lyft on the island and taxi service is limited, so plan ahead for the rest of your stay!

  • If you’re planning to bring your kids for the weekend but need childcare for the night of the wedding, the venue recommends connecting via the Babysitters/Nanny/Childcare SJI Facebook group for local sitters here.
